Firewood Stools - Then Now and Forever Collection
This collection of firewood stools is created from a single load of wood discarded from a lumber mill, all of the pieces collected in a single trip were used. Twelve unique pieces were made. As with the previous firewood stools all pieces are created with scrap lumber. The pieces are then combined to create a stool/ocasional table, and then glued and painted to make a unique object. The color palette, and title for this group is taken form a specific paint collection from Dunn Edwards - “Then Now and Forever” which was developed with a blend of historically accurate colors and new and trending colors. The colors were selected from a complete string of color codes, DET025-DET036. The name for each piece is taken from the name of the paint color and the remaining paint can with the color name and information is delivered with the piece.
